Tuscanooga (I think) - Nov. 25th

Well, I think that is the name of town we went to. I couldn't even find it in my Atlas to verify (if that gives you any idea of what kind of place it was). Today was an adventure, right from the start. First thing this morning, before we even got off Kirkman road, we played "Dodge The Bouncing Helmet". One of our riders lost their helmet (right off their head) doing about 50-60 mph coming over the bridge on Kirkman by Bally's. The riders behind where dodging the helmet which was bouncing around like a tennis ball. Oh yeah...... today was going to be a typical CFRG day.

We took some nice roads, very beautiful scenery, etc. We made a couple egg-nog stops (don't ask...). Words of wisdom, don't drink egg nog for breakfast. Then there was the house out in the country that had like a hundred birds on the roof. It was not the only house around, but for some reason the roof was covered with birds, and not a single bird on the roofs of any of the surrounding houses. Oh, and I can't forget to mention Bobby's Trucks, where you can buy a new Expedition, or a new tractor.

We stopped at our favorite restaurant in Bushnell (Cross Traxx) and had lunch. Our waitress was Kathy. She lives in a one room log cabin and her brother-in-law came over last night and ended up spending the night. He kept coughing and snorting and snoring all night, so she didn't get any sleep because the couch he slept on was just across the room from her bed. If you stop by, I am sure she will tell you the story. We heard it several times ourselves.

From there we did some more riding through Mount Dora, then over into Sanford where we stopped at the "Bar Out Back" on Lake Monroe. That was a kool place. I had never been there. Lots of bikes, live band, vendors, etc...

A good time was had by all. Hope to see you on the next one...

Rob
